My name is Jeff Collier and I started as a Personal Trainer in sunny San Diego in 2014. I got into this business because of my passion for health and fitness, as well as my desire for helping people reach their full potential. I enjoy working with clients on weight loss as well as strength and conditioning. I help my clients achieve their goals through positive motivation, dynamic warm ups, plyometrics and circuit training. As the captain of the water polo and swim team in high school and college I learned the tools to be a leader and motivational instructor. Seeing the joy and satisfaction that comes when my clients reach their goals is what continues to drive my as a personal trainer. I look forward to taking this journey with you!

What is Online fitness coaching?
Online personal training is a great way to have a personalized training program that you can use anywhere; whether it is at a gym, at home or on the road. The program and specific exercises can be customized based on what equipment you have access to.
Through the Trainerize app you will have access to instructional videos and you will be able to log and track all of your sets and reps for each workout. I personally write your training program to match your personal goals, fitness level and any injuries that you may be dealing with; which is different from most other online training programs that have a very generic workout for you to follow regardless of your fitness level.
I will be here to write your programs and provide guidance and support, but ultimately you will find the most success when you set a goal and commit to yourself with consistency and accountability. ​​

What is Online Nutrition coaching?
Based on your goals you will receive three individualized things from me: the first is the total number of calories you should consume each day. To take that one step further, the second thing you’ll receive is the breakdown of your macronutrients which is essentially just the total protein, carbohydrate and fat grams you’ll need to consume each day, these three will total up to your total calorie number. Third is your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate), which is the amount of energy/calories that a person burns to keep the body functioning at rest.
This program will provide you with flexibility as you can ultimately choose which foods to eat as long as you remain within your macronutrients each day. You will be tracking your daily macros by logging your foods in the MyFitness pal app, this will also sync with Trainerize so I can keep track of your daily macros.
Also included will be a grocery and supplement printable guide to help you with meal prep and staying on track. If you aren’t a big fan of cooking or meal prepping, don’t worry I have plenty of clients that don’t cook that are still very successful with this program.

Change does not happen overnight and it is not a linear journey. You
will have days or even weeks where you question why you are doing all this work and not seeing the results you think you should be seeing. I have been there before, stepping on the scale and seeing a plateau or even weight gain. It’s like a wrecking ball hitting you in the stomach and you can even get really down on yourself and depressed.

What worked for me was I got into triathlons and signed up for my first Ironman 70.3 while still being overweight. Making a really hard challenge for myself forced me to take a deep look into how I got to where I was. It forced me to train for that event or goal because the only person I was going to let down by not giving it 100% was myself.
Whatever your health and fitness goals are, I am confident that with the right tools and goals in place we can make your wildest dreams a reality. It’ won't be without hard work and more sacrifice than you can even imagine right now but it’s all within reach. I've been on Jeff's program a couple of times and everytime i have seen results. Jeff makes the workouts specifically for you and what you are trying to accomplish. He is awesome when it comes to things that need to be adjusted to fit your schedule. As for the diet portion, he asks you for what you want within your diet. For example: I love coffee and he made it work where I could still have my coffee and still achieve results. All the workouts Jeff puts into your workout plan has a video to go along with it to explain what the workout is and how to perform it.

Before starting nutrition with Jeff, I was working out with F45 but not really seeing any results as far as weight loss. I knew it was because of diet, but I didn’t know where to begin. Jeff really helped me with the proper tools to begin my nutrition journey. He helps you by formulating a plan that you want to accomplish.
